Saturaday: Set of white naugahyde and oak MCM chairs $4.99 for the pair. They were really dirty, luckly naugahyde cleans up real easy. They are in great shape

Thursday: Low coffee table from the Planner Group designed by Paul McCobb $5

Glidden Planter

I found the large Glidden planter in a goodwill. It matches one I found 2 years ago. It is aways great to find matches. Glidden was a mid-century modern ceramic manufacturer. $3

Large staved teak salad bowl designed by Jens Quistgaard. For me, I splurged on this bowl, and payed a whopping $12 at a local thift store. It is really striking in person, and the handles are wonderful. It was a good buy. This bowl is selling online for $300+

I stopped by goodwill on the way home from my parents house today and found this large modern art print. It is very striking. Marked for Manzha 4/5 lynn itzkowitz. Purchased for $9.99 (pictured out of the frame)

Robert Welch Designed Cast Iron Candlestick

Also found in the bin at the goodwill outlet. Amazing 1960's original cast iron candlestick. With the orginal manufacture and store sticker. It was originally purchased at the Design Centre of London. $0.99

LAUREL LAMP!!!

Whahoo, looks like I have hit the end of my thrifting slow streak. I found some real quality items this week. I found this laurel lamp in the bin at the goodwill outlet. It was real ganky looking, I should have taken a before shot. I dissassembles the entire lamp, cleaned, polished, and reassembled it. I made it a nice aluminum shade that constrasts nicely with the brass. Not to bad for $1.99 and + 45min of work.
