Rosewood Side Table, Johansfors Bowl, Blenko Candle Holders, and Kjeni Teak Tray

The rosewood table started as a wall unit cabinet. I purchased it (and some other pieces) for $15. It didn't have the wall brackets so I improvised by adding hairpin legs. The bowl was $3, Tray $2, and Blenkos were also $2.

Russel Wright for Bauer

I saw this on the bottom shelf at Goodwill. I thought ...huh, that glaze looks like RW.  Turned it over and sure enough, its a piece of Bauer art pottery designed by Russel Right. I think it was $2.99.

Herman Miller Time Life by Eames

I purchased this at an expensive furniture store as part of their antiques line. It was in their clearance room and I negotiated like a pro get it for a fair price. I really wanted this chair and they seem to be rarer than unicorns in New England.

Gilbert Rohde for Heywood Wakefield

The chair passes the pepper test! Pepper (the cat) only sits in the best chairs :)

I saw this chair in Goodwill about 1 month ago. It was painted and horribly reupholstered. I told myself I would only buy it as a project chair if it was still there when it went half off. Well it went half off yesterday. It has been stripped to the original upholstery and sanded back to bare wood. Still a long way to go. The price was right at $5.50.

Lobmeyr Crystal Chandelier

I picked this up at a flea market. It took hours to clear and it still is a little dirty. It was missing 2 prisms and had some broken beads. Luckily, I was able to source replacement parts for little money. :) All in all, quite a bargain. Often attributed to Sciolari, but it is made by J. and L. Lobmeyr.

New Bowls

I picked up some new bowls
Nambe bowl # 563 (probably designed by Richard K Thomas) from Salvation Army
Hyalyn bowl designed by Herb Cohen. from an Antique Shop (GASP, I know. It was more than I wanted to pay, but I had to have it)

I have learned my lesson. Stick to thift stores and flea markets where the dollar goes further.

Orrefors Carl Fagerlund Pendant

SCORE: Bostlund Lotte lamp Model 900

WOOO! So excited to find this Bostlund Lotte lamp. I love their designs. They are so clean and timeless. I was in a thrift store, bee lining way to the bathroom, when I saw it. My normal moto is grab it first, decide later. This time natured called. I quickly did my business, ran out, and snatched it. It was stressful. Things get nabbed quickly in thrift shops.
