Arts and Crafts Movement Table; Midcentury Teak Bowls
I found this table at the goodwill outlet. It looked really crappy. The top was covered with a foe wood contact paper. I passed it buy twice not realizing what it was. Luckly the adhesive was pretty old and the paper came off easy. You can tell this table top was originally covered in leather and had brass tacks around the edge. It must have looked rather sharp. Right now the knotty pine top gives it a more rustic feel. Not bad for $10. The large teak bowl was $4 and the smaller one was $2.50, Both are carved from solid pieces of teak.
