Laurel Mushroom Lamp - Mushroom Shade = This

I found a Laurel Mushroom lamp base at Savers thrift store for $4. I now have to locate the elusive mushroom shade. I went through my lamp shades and found that this shade from ikea shade rests perfectly in the lamp. Not as cool as the original, but it work for the time being

New Bowls

I picked up some new bowls
Nambe bowl # 563 (probably designed by Richard K Thomas) from Salvation Army
Hyalyn bowl designed by Herb Cohen. from an Antique Shop (GASP, I know. It was more than I wanted to pay, but I had to have it)

I have learned my lesson. Stick to thift stores and flea markets where the dollar goes further.

Apple Pascal Poster circa 1979

Great piece of history from the early days of Apple. Apparelty this poster is surrounded by intrigue and controversy. There is a full story on the poster as described here..

I understand it is rare and desireable although there is not much pricing information on it. It was given mainly to Apple distributers and some customers. Purchased in Goodwill for $3.99
