Laurel Floor Lamp
I am having amazing luck finding Laurel lamps. They are pretty rare, yet I have been finding about one a week for the past month. Most recient find is highly prized, selling for big bucks in NYC. It has a neat feature in that the height of the lamp can be adjusted. I payed a measly $6.99.

James Tufts Boston Tripple Plated Silver Candleholder
Ok, so this isn't really my style, but I do recognize a good quality antique when I see it. James Tufts was a silver manufacture from 1875-1915. This is a ornate Victorian candlestick. Similar ones have sold so big bucks. I am glad I didn't pass it up. Only 99 cents.

Stanley Roberts Inc Flatware
I was very happy for this find. I needed a bigger set of flatware, and I wasn't happy with new sets. I found this complete set of 50 pcs in the boutique part of the goodwill for $14.99. They 1/2 brass 1/2 stainless. The pattern is Goldtone manufactured by Stanley Roberts Inc. They look mid-century. Most were still in there original plastic and never used. They are fun to make starburst patterns with :)

Other New Goodies
Another Laurel Lamp
I have been having good luck lately. Laurel lamps are fairly hard to come by, but I just found another. This was in the bin at the goodwill outlet. It was burried under a pile of junk, covered in dust, the piece that holds the shade on was missing, and the mounting piece was bent. Luckly I was at the outlet where they don't care what you do (it's the last step before the dump). I canablized a junky lamp for the missing pieces (all generic and mass produced the parts made by laurel are in excellent condition). The lamp is cast brass, and it has very thin walnut veneers on the base. It cleaned up well and all the veneers are in great condition. A similar one is selling online for $595 on sale for $295. I purchased mine for $3.99
