$4 Paul McCobbish Table
I found this table, very dirty, at a local thift shop. It had 2 pet carriers on top of it, and was barely noticable. When I got the carriers off it looked like it was in bad shape. Upon closer inspection I noticed it was just thick with grime, and the finish was still very good. It wasn't marked, so I asked the owner for a price. He said $4 since he didn't get to clean it up yet. One of the legs is kind of wobbly, but some wood glue should make it solid as a rock again. The shape of the table is very similar to Paul McCobbs Plannar tables ( seen here http://www.modernpast.com/furniture/2002_0626_034656AA.JPG ). It is solid wood, and a pretty good find for the weekend.
