George Nelson for Aubock Wire Company, NOT!
I found this little gem of a table at a thrift store for $12. It was missing the glass top, so I walked to the beach, picked up some driftwood boards, and cut them to size.
NOT Designed by George Nelson in the 1950s

Gyokusendo Copperware Teapot
When I saw this in the bin I immediately knew it was something very special. At first I thought it may have been Tiffany, but then I saw the Japanese Chop.
After some research I found it was made by Gyokusendo Copperware. The company has been in business in Japan since 1816 making hand hammered copper objects. A new teapot today could run $720+ USD.
I was thrilled to purchase it for $4.99.
