3 Yamaka Plates

$4 Paul McCobbish Table

I found this table, very dirty, at a local thift shop. It had 2 pet carriers on top of it, and was barely noticable. When I got the carriers off it looked like it was in bad shape. Upon closer inspection I noticed it was just thick with grime, and the finish was still very good. It wasn't marked, so I asked the owner for a price. He said $4 since he didn't get to clean it up yet. One of the legs is kind of wobbly, but some wood glue should make it solid as a rock again.  The shape of the table is very similar to Paul McCobbs Plannar tables ( seen here http://www.modernpast.com/furniture/2002_0626_034656AA.JPG ). It is solid wood, and a pretty good find for the weekend.

Portrait

I found this painting in a local thift store. It is very haunting. It looks like watercolor on canvas. It was in a bad frame, that hurt its appearance. I took it out and am storing it flat in a drawer until I find a suitible frame.

Undulating Teal Lamps

I found these lamps in goodwill. The lampshades are from Salvo.

Candlesticks

I purchased these candlesticks at a local thrift shop today. The two tall ones in the back are hand made from ebony wood. The two lower ones are midcentury modern. The full cast iron one is japanese. The short one with wood is marked GSMED Denmark.
