Laurel Lamps

Another good find at the thrift store today. I found a perfect match to one of my vintage laurel floor lamps. This puppy was marked $6, but it was the color of the week so it was 50% off. I snagged it for $3.

Now I just need to find a nice pair of vintage shades (I borrowed these shades from another pair of lamps)

Gen-U-Wine Knoll Chair

I found this authentic Knoll chair at one of the local thift shops today. It is has the original paper label from the Knoll Corporation and a sticker from Art Metal Inc.  It is extremely heavy. I purchased it for a bargin at $7. I haven't been able to find this model anywhere online. It's either rare, crap, or custom :)

Pair of Art Bronze Statues

I found this pair of modern bronze sculptures in the wild
Marked Rembetsy with an old embossed label
New labels saying 1940
The base of the female figure has "Garue" carved into it. Its an old carving
I believe they are by Peter Rembetsy, but not certain.
I was amazed these were donated, let alone still sitting on the shelf.
They were remarkably cheep; less than taking a date to Mc D's

Aluminum and Mahogony Ice Bucket

MCM icebucket made of solid mahogony and aluminum. It is very heavy. Found at goodwill for $2.99

Paul Gordon Lamp

I found this nice lamp in goodwill about 2 weeks ago for $2.99. It's by a studio potter named Paul Gordon. It was handmade probably in the 60's. Danish modern styling.

Reggiani Floor Lamp

I found this nice funky floor lamp the other day. $9.99

Update 11/18/09: I just found out this is a Reggiani lamp from the 1970's.  I like it even more now.
