Painting

This very minimal seventy painting was awaiting purchase. At $15 it's less than some posters so I could not pass it up. Canvas size is 30x40"

Staved Teak Tray

I found this nice midcentury modern teak tray at goodwill. It dates from the 1950's, was made in Denmark, and was designed by Jens Quistgaard. The model number is 801.

Marshall Studios Plate

This plate was made by Gordon or Jane Martz. Their studio became famous for there midcentury modern lamps. I have liked every piece of Marshall Studio pottery I have ever seen.

Ron Schmidt

This is a beautiful piece of art by Ron Schmidt. I can't believe it was in goodwill. Actually another lady came up to me and was interested in it, but I told her I was purchasing it. It is made of antique style nails and sheets of brass that have been intricately welded together. This is not the mass produced metal sculpture you would find at homegoods, but a real piece of art.

Bostlund Lotte Lamp

This was a true bargin. I found this lamp at goodwill with its original shade. A nice midcentury modern score. These lamps are still in production, though this one seems of vintage. Here is the website. They have a nice history section. http://www.lottelamps.com/

Megel Secretary Desk

I found this secretary desk at a local thrift shop. It was originally designed by Raymond Loewy (http://www.raymondloewy.com/).
